The History of Taekwondo

Fortunately, the history of sport is easier to find than many other forms of Martial Arts. Therefore, newer and newer Martial Art, the origin is well documented and allow for a thorough study of the origins and history. Taekwondo is primarily a Korean martial art, after it was created in the early years after the end of the Korean War. Before the start of modern Taekwondo, but can appear earlier forms of martial arts and Taekwondo has served as the basis of Taekwondo rampant.

A man who saw far back (in the early ancestors Taekwondo), which is where the history is in fact not a little dark. Taekwondo is a universal art and has been "borrowed" from many of the techniques of other martial arts for many years (and centuries) that the "old" sports art is not well known to all people. Taekwondo is a better idea than the culmination of a lot of Korean, Japanese and Chinese influences (mostly Korean but influences) to form a well-rounded and well-thought kurrikulum martial arts.

One of the reasons why the art of Taekwondo is not clear older, is that many of them were banned throughout the year in which Japan had control over the majority of Korea (between 1910 and 1945). For example, traditional Korean art of war strictly as prohibited Taekkyon Subak and practiced or taught in Japan to be an attempt to force the Koreans to assimilate Japanese culture (Korea were forced to ignore their own language and take Japanese names in place of their own). Subak especially Taekkyon still practiced and taught in secret can move and change a lot of technological change enough that Korean forces would not be caught.

Of course, when the Korean War, the modern Taekwondo (it is at this point that Taekwondo is now getting his name) began to take place in Korea and other countries. It was around the year 1955, after many Taekwondo schools popular in South Korea began to form in the United States Taekwondo as well. Taekwondo Nobody really expected to become popular because it is not in the Western world, and the Martial Arts form, it is so familiar and well done in the United States as Karate and Kung Fu.

Evidence to the popularity of Taekwondo is one of the two Martial Arts became an official Olympic Games from other martial arts is a Jew. Dojang Some focus more on practice and their students learn martial arts taekwondo tournament and prepare for their competitions and dojang more about the teachings of the martial art itself is the focus. This is very important for anyone interested in Taekwondo dojang the right to find themselves. While the emphasis on philosophy and virtue are not as common as in other Martial Arts Taekwondo, they come and go back to the beginning of the original Taekwondo itself.
